Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate Tax specialist to join our busy Corporate Tax team in Bristol.

Your role will involve building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and ensuring they have access to the breadth of services available to them at EY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Engage in proactive business development to add value to existing and new clients.
  • Manage the successful delivery of technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements as well as related advisory projects.
  • Participate in tax audit engagements.
  • Provide exceptional client service in conjunction with other tax specialist teams.
  • Develop and support junior team members through supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Contribute to people initiatives.
  • Deliver commercially and strategically aware solutions to clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a corporate tax practitioner.
  • ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent tax specialist qualification.
  • Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course, Law qualification, or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a tax specialist qualification.
  • Strong corporate tax technical skills and client relationship management ability.
  • Negotiation, business development, effective time‑management and excellent communication skills.
