We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor, Capital Allowance specialist to join our busy Capital Asset Tax Services ('CATS') team in London. The role will involve helping clients optimise tax relief on capital expenditure and delivering pursuits and projects across all business sectors with a specific focus on London.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on capital allowance claims for property, infrastructure, software and other fixed assets.
  • Prepare and review capital allowance calculations and reports.
  • Identify areas of risk, conduct effective reviews and refer upwards when necessary.
  • Support pursuits, proposals and projects across the business sectors.
  • Maintain client expectations and manage relationships.
  • Use MS Excel and other advanced technology tools to analyse data.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification in surveying, tax, or accounting (or a strong commitment to obtain one).
  • Experience or qualifications in quantity surveying, valuations or construction technology preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and keen to develop further.
  • Good project management skills with ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outgoing with strong relationship management skills.
