Director, Transaction Strategy & Execution, Finance

Description: Join our CFO Advisory team within EY Parthenon’s Strategy and Transaction Execution practice. We are looking for self-starters passionate about driving value for CFOs across sectors including Private Equity.

The Opportunity: This rapidly growing team focuses on transaction business, supporting clients throughout the capital lifecycle, across deal and non-deal engagements. We are expanding our CFO advisory services, providing exciting opportunities for those dedicated to delivering client value.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise on M&A impacts on finance functions and CFO priorities.
  2. Specialize in integration, separation, and change in ownership challenges.
  3. Apply analytical and advisory skills throughout the deal lifecycle, with a focus on ODD and value creation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design the operating model and assist clients with finance function integration.
  2. Collaborate across EY service lines to address CFOs’ most pressing issues.
  3. The ‘CFO Solutions’ team also work across EY, drawing across all of our service lines, including value creation, P&L optimisation, as well as maturity assessment of the finance function to support scalability and/or cost out.

Skills and Attributes for Success: To qualify for this role, you must:

  1. Have broad experience in finance, industry roles, or transactions.
  2. Possess strong academic and interpersonal skills.
  3. Have experience as a change agent.
