This role is to support our legal and company secretarial team in Belfast on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
Key Responsibilities- Support lawyers and company secretaries in delivering exceptional legal services to clients.
- Engage with technology and international teams to ensure efficient delivery.
- Carry out day‑to‑day administrative tasks, including client engagement processes and billing.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Work alongside senior team members on various projects, including corporate restructuring and compliance initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and gather, collate and review data and documentation.
- Produce initial drafts of legal documentation.
- Assist with project management, including liaising across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support the team in developing the practice, drafting, amending and updating legal precedents, know‑how and internal/external marketing materials.
- Team player; able to integrate with new teams quickly and build relationships at all levels.
- Able to prioritise appropriately and deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
- Able to solve problems creatively and pragmatically.
- Excellent communicator in written and oral situations.
- Strong IT skills and an ability to learn, understand and adapt to new systems and applications.
- Educated to degree level.
- Previous experience within the company secretarial or legal sector preferred.
- Aspiration to pursue CGI qualification or training contract, or currently working towards it.
