We are a high‑profile role working with some of the world’s largest companies, offering exposure to the dynamic world of Transaction Forensics and growth aspirations.

Role Purpose

Drive the growth and market positioning of EY’s Forensic Technology & Discovery capability, leading eDiscovery and adjacent offerings across investigations, disputes, cyber and regulatory matters.

The Opportunity

As a Director in the Forensics team, you shape the growth of the eDiscovery practice by originating work, leading complex engagements and expanding into new use cases. You operate as a visible market leader, working closely with Partners across regions to drive revenue, innovation and client impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Leadership & Revenue Growth: Own pipeline creation, conversion and revenue delivery for eDiscovery and adjacent solutions; lead market activation campaigns and identify priority sector opportunities; build senior relationships with GC, Legal, Compliance, Risk, CIO and CISO stakeholders; originate and close new engagements leveraging cross‑service line collaboration; develop and scale annuity/managed service offerings (e.g. ongoing review, DSAR support, investigation readiness); drive cross‑sell with FDA, cyber, AI and broader Forensics offerings.
  • AI & Innovation Leadership: Lead adoption of AI‑enabled eDiscovery solutions such as predictive coding, GenAI‑assisted review, NLP; identify and develop new AI‑driven use cases including investigations analytics, continuous monitoring, review optimisation and automation; translate emerging technologies into scalable client propositions; collaborate with global AI and data teams; drive innovation into delivery approaches, tooling and efficiency; act as senior advisor on complex matters.
  • Use Case Expansion (Beyond Core eDiscovery): Expand eDiscovery capability into investigations (fraud, misconduct, regulatory inquiries), cyber response, privacy and data governance (e.g. DSARs, regulatory compliance); position eDiscovery as a core enabling capability across Forensics; partner with legal, cyber and risk teams; identify emerging market needs and shape new propositions.
  • Practice Build & Global Collaboration: Shape and scale eDiscovery propositions at regional and global level; drive consistency in methodologies, tooling and delivery standards; collaborate across global Forensics teams on multi‑jurisdictional engagements; contribute to thought leadership; lead and develop high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary teams; coach managers and senior staff; build capability across AI, analytics, investigations and cyber‑linked skillsets; foster integration across eDiscovery, FDA and wider Forensics teams.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery lifecycle, tools and legal/regulatory frameworks.
  • Deep experience with eDiscovery platforms (e.g. Relativity, Nuix, Brainspace).
  • Strong commercial acumen and market‑facing capability.
  • Ability to translate technical and AI solutions into business value.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Leadership across multidisciplinary and cross‑border teams.
