Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Bristol | Rate: £350 - £500 per day A well-established main contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a project or major project section in the Bristol area. You'll protect the commercial position on site, working closely with the delivery team and reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager. What you'll be doing: Leading procurement, subcontract administration and payment/valuation processes Managing cost control, CVR reporting and forecasting Identifying and managing risks, opportunities and contractual change Overseeing final accounts, variations and dispute resolution Supporting and developing junior commercial team members Liaising directly with clients and PQS to keep projects on track commercially What we're looking for: Strong track record in a Senior QS role within main contracting Solid grasp of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes Confident managing procurement, subcontracts and final accounts end-to-end A proactive, numbers-driven approach with strong stakeholder relationships Ability to lead and develop others within a commercial team Why apply: Jo...
