Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Monumental Mason located in Coleford. The Monumental Mason will be responsible for working with stone and other related materials, performing masonry tasks including cement, brickwork, renovation, and stonework. Day‑to‑day tasks include crafting, repairing, and renovating monuments, handling and preparing materials, liaising with clients and burial authorities to ensure their needs and specifications are met, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Masonry and Stonework skills
- Experience with Cement and Brickwork
- Skills in Renovation of stone and brick structures
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in monumental masonry is a plus
