This company was established just over a decade ago and in that time has seen significant growth and headcount. The company design, manufacture and install commercial hatchery systems for the international poultry markets.

Now in the new year, the company have an order book that is nearing capacity and are looking for an experienced buyer to assist in their material / component sourcing.

The Role:

  • Manage existing relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and looking to negotiate pricing
  • Ensure all procurement activity is correctly recorded on company ERP and MRP systems
  • Collaborate with the production teams, working to maintain material availability and inventory levels
  • Track and report department KPI's, producing cost saving reports
  • Interpret technical drawings, understand what fabricated, machined and manufactured components are needed
  • Potential site visits to suppliers
