This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading contractor operating across the water sector, delivering specialist services in coatings, maintenance, and new project works. The company undertakes civil, mechanical, and electrical activities and is recognised for its commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

In this workshop-based, hands-on role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and preparing spray pump machinery and associated equipment. You will also assist with general yard and workshop duties, ensuring all equipment is safe, organised, and ready for site use.

This role would suit a practical individual with mechanical experience who is keen to develop their skills within a supportive, long-term role. Forklift training can be provided where required.

The Role:
  • Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair spray pump machinery, carrying out preventative maintenance as required
  • Prepare, inspect, test, and move equipment prior to site use, including safe forklift operation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised yard and workshop environment
  • Work autonomously for the majority of the day, supporting site and workshop teams as required - 45-hour week, Monday-Friday (7:00am-5:00pm)

  • Workshop Technician or similar
  • Mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with machinery
  • Forklift licence and PAT testing preferred, but company will provide and pay for training if needed
  • Commutable to Swindon
