Are you an experienced Generator Service Engineer looking for a long-term, secure role with strong technical variety and clear opportunities to progress?
Do you want to join a specialist power generation business where you will work on a wide range of diesel generator systems, from standby units to large-scale installations, supported by a highly technical and close-knit engineering team?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and growing generator and UPS contractor based in Hampshire. The business is known for its high technical standards, responsive service, and commitment to developing its engineers through training and OEM support.
This role would suit a Generator Engineer who enjoys hands-on fault finding, commissioning, and working independently on customer sites, with flexibility to travel across the UK as required.
The Role- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel generators on customer sites and in the Hampshire depot
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on generator systems
- Commissioning, load testing, and ATS configuration
- Control system diagnostics and modifications (Deep Sea, ComAp, etc.)
- Electrical installation fault finding and testing
- Completing service reports and recommending remedial works
- Generator Service Engineer or similar background
- Willingness to travel UK-wide with occasional overnight stays and out-of-hours work
- Ideally based between the South and Midlands
