Are you a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for a long-term career within a company who will invest in your development, with ongoing training on Six Sigma and clear routes to progress to a Quality Manager within 2 years?

In this role you will be handling quality issues and dealing with customers, liaising with internal departments, and overseeing a small team of 4 Quality Controllers once fully up to speed. Given ongoing support and guidance from Directors, this role will evolve into a Quality Manager position within 2 years.

Established 30 years ago, this manufacturing company boasts a portfolio of over 1000 products being supplied into industries ranging from aerospace to medical. Supplying globally, they pride themselves on their expertise in their niche sector, with their high-quality being paramount to their success.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer who wants to progress, whilst getting stuck in on the manufacturing floor, supporting Quality Controllers and handling customer issues.

The Role:

  • Conducting internal audits and using Lean Six Sigma
  • Managing quality issues and consulting with customers
  • Overseeing a team of 4 Quality Controllers once up to speed
  • Continuous development and coaching to move into a Quality Manager position
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, flexi-time
