Are you a Quality Engineer with experience in AS9100 and manufacturing, looking to take the next step in your career within a regulated, high-integrity engineering environment? On offer is an excellent opportunity to become a central figure within the Quality function of a fast-paced aerospace manufacturer. You will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure robust quality systems, effective corrective actions, and full compliance with AS9100 and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will support and monitor Quality Assurance systems, act as the main point of contact for quality matters, and assist with internal and external audits. You will review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), support RCCA and NCR activities, contribute to customer reviews, and help drive waste reduction and variation reduction initiatives across the business.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer or Quality Technician with aerospace experience who is comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment and is keen to influence processes, support continuous improvement, and develop long-term within a stable organisation.

The Role:
  • Maintain and support Quality Assurance systems to AS9100 and ISO standards
  • Act as a point of contact for all internal and external quality matters
  • Support internal and external audit scheduling and accreditation maintenance
  • Review and interpret First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
  • Support NCR, RCCA, and Red Table quality activities
  • Assist with customer requirements, reviews, and business workshops
  • Drive waste reduction, variation reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
The Person:
  • Quality Engineering background within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO standards
