Are you a Panel Wirer with a background in LV switchgear or similar, looking for a days-based role with an established electrical manufacturer that offers a top-tier salary and the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through overtime? This is an opportunity to join a well-established electrical manufacturer in Leicester. They design and build LV switchgear and control panels for commercial and industrial clients across the UK. With the awarding of several large contracts, they are now seeking an additional Panel Wirer to fill their demand.

In this hands-on role, you will wire custom control panels and LV switchgear using technical drawings and schematics, while working as part of a skilled and supportive team. You will also carry out copper and busbar fitting, basic electrical testing, and mechanical assembly on bespoke electrical equipment.

This role would suit a Panel Wirer with a background in LV Switchgear or similar, looking to join a growing, established company that offers impressive financial remuneration.

The Role:
  • Wire control panels and LV switchgear assemblies to general arrangement drawings and electrical schematics
  • Carry out copper fitting, including measuring, cutting, drilling, and installing busbars/earth bars
  • Carry out mechanical fitting, including drilling, tapping, and punching
  • Wire between components and fit fixtures securely
  • 40 hours/week: Monday to Friday

  • Panel Wirer with a background in LV Switchgear or similar
  • Commutable Wigston
