Are you a Panel Wirer with a background in LV switchgear or similar, seeking a days-based position with a well-established electrical manufacturer that offers an excellent salary and the chance to boost earnings through overtime? This is a great opportunity to join a long-standing electrical manufacturer based in Leicester. They design and manufacture LV switchgear and control panels for commercial and industrial customers across the UK. Due to the award of multiple large-scale projects, they are looking to add an additional Panel Wirer to support increased workload.

In this practical role, you will be responsible for wiring bespoke control panels and LV switchgear from technical drawings and schematics, working within a skilled and supportive team. You will also undertake copper and busbar installation, basic electrical testing, and mechanical assembly on custom-built electrical equipment.

This position would suit a Panel Wirer with an LV Switchgear or similar background, who is looking to join a growing and well-established business offering strong financial rewards.

The Role:

  • Wire control panels and LV switchgear assemblies from general arrangement drawings and electrical schematics
  • Carry out copper fitting duties, including measuring, cutting, drilling, and installing busbars/earth bars
  • Perform mechanical fitting tasks, including drilling, tapping, and punching
  • Wire between components and securely fit fixtures
  • 40 hours/week: Monday to Friday
