Do you have a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and want to gain hands-on experience with a leading pump specialist, receiving full training on specialist pump systems and varied fieldwork that will develop you into a fully qualified Field Service Engineer?

Founded in 1969, this UK-based pump specialist is an authorised distributor and service provider for leading pump brands, supplying, installing, repairing, and maintaining pumping systems across domestic, commercial, and utilities sectors. The business is known for technical expertise, refurbishment capability, and long-term customer support nationwide.

In this role, you will visit customer sites to service, maintain, and repair pumping systems in commercial and industrial settings, learning the systems and gaining experience with both mechanical and electrical faults. You'll respond to breakdowns and planned maintenance visits, complete service documentation, and work closely with customers and the service office, all while following safe working practices. The role covers the Oxford, Milton Keynes, and Aylesbury area, with working hours of 8:00AM - 4:45PM.

This role would suit a multiskilled Field Service Engineer seeking varied field-based work, specialist pump training, and the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role:

  • Service, maintain, and repair pumping systems on customer sites
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:45pm, regional travel only

The Person:

  • Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Hands-on mechanical experience with pumps, motors, and rotating equipment
  • Full UK driving licence and happy to travel regionally
