In this role, you'll join as a Civil Technician, contributing to live projects while receiving focused training in drainage and highways design. Over the short term, your main responsibilities will transition toward drainage and highways as you build technical capability and confidence. You'll be far more involved in projects than in a typical technician role, working closely with senior engineers and technicians across the full project lifecycle.
This role would suit a Civil Technician with good all-round civil experience who is eager to specialise in drainage and highways within a supportive consultancy environment.
The Role:
- Assist with civil engineering design and technical drawings across a range of projects
- Receive structured training in drainage and highways design (short-term progression into this focus)
- Work closely with Senior Engineers and Technicians as part of the internal project team
- Prepare technical drawings, reports, and calculations
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams
- Carry out site visits and inspections
- Manage workload to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm)

- Commutable to Cardiff / Newport
