Are you an experienced service engineer or technician from the smoke ventilation industry, looking to join a market leading company that provides exceptional training and clear progression paths? In this role you will be commissioning mechanical extract systems and other smoke ventilation systems. Working alongside and supervising a team of different skill levels, the right candidate will thrive in enabling others' successes and providing feedback to identify opportunities for process and performance improvement.

This company was established three and a half decades ago, and are heavily involved in Smoke Ventilation, even having members of the team sit on the Executive committee of the SCA. Being annually audited by the BSI for ISO9001:2015 accreditation alongside many other certifications, they strive for optimum service and quality in everything they do.

This role would suit a service engineer with direct experience in the smoke ventilation industry looking to further their career in an industry leading company.

The Role:

  • Wire, fix & commission a range of smoke ventilation systems from different manufacturers such as Colt, SCS and FDS
  • Act with high levels of professionalism and confidentiality in this customer facing position
  • Manage small and large installations and ensure the assigned team are working to the correct design and standards per drawings provided
  • Understand and apply the legislation and BS that apply to the industry
  • Ensure all systems can be fully operated on all listed conditions to eliminate the possibility of failure to comply
  • Majority of projects in London and the Southeast but national travel and lodging required

The Person:

  • NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
  • Ventilation experience
