Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience working on Substation / Transformer / Power or similar projects? On offer is a varied role offering the chance to play a key part in specialist National Grid projects within a growing company who offer the chance to progress your career and continually upskill yourself.
This growing company is a provider of front end engineering services for a varied client base working on National Grid projects. They have been undergoing an exciting period of expansion since their establishment in 2021, and due to this are looking to grow their friendly design team.
In this role you will be part of a team working on specialist protection & control projects. Your day-to-day work will primarily involve design work of schematics, cable blocks and diagrams in addition to preparing bills of materials and design intent documents. You will be part of a tight-knit team in addition to liaising closely with other departments and clients as you work primarily in office, with some client visitation and occasional WFH.
This varied role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer or similar from a Power / Utilities or similar background looking to join a tight-knit team within a growing company who offer a range of opportunities to upskill yourself.
The Role:- Be a part of a team carrying out end-to-end project work on P&C projects
- Schematic, cable block and diagram design
- Prepare bill of materials and design intent documents
- Full training provided
- Primarily office based with occasional client visitation and WFH

- Background in Power Systems / Transformer / Substation or similar projects
