Are you an experienced Fitter with experience working with large capacity machines, looking to work for a historic and successful engineering company supplying into the Oil & Gas and Renewables sector?

Are you from a machine commissioning background and would like to work for a company where you can progress to senior management without all the travel?

Do you have experience with installing, repairing, or overhauling large-format, industrial-scale CNC machinery?

On offer is a role with a company established for over 100 years offering heavy engineered components, up to 13m in length and 35 tonnes in weight, for the mining, oil & gas and power generation industries, and who offer overtime, progression and development.

The company offers excellent machining and in-house facilities, and you will be working with highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

The role:

  • Strip down tools and machines for maintenance and repair
  • Clean, oil, and prepare parts for reassembly
  • Rebuild and fit tools/machines back to operational condition
  • Safely handle and move heavy components (some exceeding 80kg) – crane experience is a plus, but not essential
  • Familiarity with large-format CNC machines

The Person:

  • Background in tool fitting, mechanical engineering or toolmaking
  • Comfortable working shifts in a hands-on capacity
  • Physically fit and safety-conscious
