Are you a Fitter/Engineer with mechanical and electrical knowledge, looking for a permanent, long-term, static role in a clean workshop, fitting top-of-the-range specialist machinery and equipment for a nationally renowned company?

In this workshop-based role you will be testing and calibrating brand-new equipment that comes into the workshop, whilst also performing fault finding and diagnostics on older equipment too. Working in a small team, you will be given plenty of ongoing training to become an expert in the field.

Founded 30 years ago, this equipment hire company boast a turnover of £30 million and prides themselves on promoting from within wherever possible. As the nation\\\’s leading provider, they look to continue their growth for years to come through supplying new equipment and moving into new industries.

This role would suit a Fitter or Engineer who has worked hands-on electrically, perhaps doing wiring or fault finding, looking for a static role working on niche equipment within a large national company that will look after them.

The Role

  • Refurbishing, repairing, testing and calibrating specialist lifting equipment
  • Working both mechanically and electrically, with inhouse training given
  • Fully workshop based
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, 37 hours a week
