Are you a Manufacturing Engineer or similar with a background in Manufacturing Process Improvement? Are you looking to play an integral part in implementing processes and leading continuous improvement strategies on behalf of one of the leading healthcare manufacturers in the UK?
On offer is the opportunity to join a leading medical equipment manufacturer and supplier, who are undertaking a massive period of growth having recently acquired another business. The company provide medical mobility equipment for both domestic and commercial clients, these include stairlifts, hoists, slings and other crucial devices. Due to the nature of the business, taking care of their employees and nurturing their development is the key to their growth and long term business strategy.
This varied and autonomous role, you will be responsible for developing and optimising assembly processes, identification and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives, spotting assembly line issues, collaboration with Quality and R & D teams and analysing data to drive continuous improvement strategies. This is a Monday to Thursday 8AM-4:30PM shift, with a 1:30PM finish on a Friday.
This role would suit a Production, Process, or Manufacturing Engineer looking to play a pivotal role within a large manufacturer who will help you progress your career and give you full autonomy to be a major player in the business.
THE ROLE
- Diagnosing problems and implementing solutions for them
- Supporting NPI and the manufacturing process
- Developing and implementing KPIs
- Monday β Thursday 8am β 4:30pm, finish at 1:30pm on Fridays
