Are you a Maintenance Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing background, who holds an Electrical qualification looking to work in a company that offers a long‑term career opportunity and in‑house training on bespoke machinery?

On offer is the opportunity to work for a well‑established manufacturing company that supplies into a wide range of industries. The company prides itself on investing into and training its staff to ensure a great culture and good staff retention. They are expecting to grow revenue by 25% in the coming years, building on a solid and well‑established reputation.

In this role you will be working alongside a team of 8‑10 maintenance engineers, directly working with one engineer on a split shift pattern Monday to Friday (6:30am - 2pm) and (12:00pm - 8pm). The shift rotates weekly, with overtime available outside these hours and on weekends. The role will consist of mostly planned preventative maintenance, but you will be required to be on a call‑out rota for reactive work. This will be 1 week in 3, with a call‑out bonus and overtime rate paid for all hours worked if called out.

This opportunity would suit a Maintenance Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing background with an electrical qualification looking for an autonomous role where you will be valued for your skillset and trained on specialist machinery.

  • PPM & Reactive maintenance on plastic manufacturing machinery
  • Working on gearboxes, servos, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
  • Full training on highly specialised machinery
  • Opportunity to work on new machinery installation projects
  • On call 1 week in 3
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x, 6‑10 hours available each week
  • Weekly Shift Rotation; Week one 6:30am - 2:30pm, Week two 12:00pm - 8:00pm

  • NVQ or 17th / 18th edition certificate
