Are you a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer with SIL Verification knowledge, looking for a static role in a complex Chemical factory where you will receive specific training to fill knowledge gaps and be respected as a technical expert?
In this role you will be working onsite at one of the most well-respected chemical producers in the UK. You will be responsible for the functional safety of the plant, ensuring day to day compliance, upgrading control systems, improving automation and maintaining technician competence, with plenty of scope to progress to more senior positions.
This role would suit a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer or similar with functional safety knowledge, looking to advance into a fast-growing company where you will be a vital and prominent asset to their operations and be recognised as a technical expert.
The Role:- Ensuring the functional safety and compliance of the plant
- Upgrading control systems and designing equipment to remain competitive in the market
- Improving the automation of machinery
- Maintaining and training technician competence
- Monday to Friday, 9-5, 35 hours per week
- Controls and Instrumentation Engineer or similar
- Functional safety knowledge (SIL verification and validation)
