On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a tight‐knit maintenance team, working on a wide range of electrical systems across multiple attractions. You will receive full on‐the‐job training, giving team members the chance to develop practical skills, enhance their expertise, and build a solid foundation in electrical engineering.

In this hands‐on role, you will play a key part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. 45‐hour week (Mon‐Sun, 5‐day rota).

This opportunity would suit an Apprentice‐Trained Engineer from an electrical background or similar, who is looking for a versatile, hands‐on role with full on‐the‐job training.

The Role
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance within a safety‐critical environment.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, using technical drawings and engineering knowledge.
  • Work to UK standards and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including 18th Edition requirements.
  • Support maintenance across multiple systems, attending ride stoppages and assisting in the development and improvement of equipment performance.
The Person
  • Apprentice‐trained engineer or ONC / Level 3 C&G / BTEC qualification.
  • Strong electrical background or similar experience.
  • Commutable to Southend‐on‐Sea.
