In this role, the successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar will be responsible for both the reactive and preventative maintenance for the electrical systems within plant/steel processing machinery. In addition, you will also be responsible for service and repair, as well as troubleshooting and diagnostics of said electrical systems. On top of this, you will be responsible for cross-departmental liaison to ensure the smooth running of the factory. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked.

The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar will have a background within the Steels/Heavy Industry. In addition, you will also have previous working experience as a maintenance engineer on an industrial scale. On top of this, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills. Finally, you will ideally have an HNC/NVQ qualification within Engineering or above.

  • Reactive and preventative maintenance for electrical systems within plant/steel processing machinery
  • Service and repair, as well as troubleshooting and diagnostics
