In this days‑based role you will be working on industrial lifting and material handling equipment, including conveyors, motors, and relays for example, with a heavy emphasis on PLCs and software‑related issues. You will be working days; however, flexibility is required for an occasional night shift paid at a premium, roughly once a fortnight if needed.

This internationally renowned company was founded in the 1940s and boasts a huge presence within the automotive, retail, and airport industries. They pride themselves on staff retention and progression of employees into senior roles, looking to continue their organic growth for years to come.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with Siemens controls experience looking to join an established, reputable company offering a technically challenging and varied role working primarily within Heathrow Airport.

The Role:
  • Performing maintenance on cargo handling equipment, mechanically and electrically
  • Editing PLCs, reviewing electrical schematics, and fault finding
  • 90% based in Heathrow Airport, some travel to other airports required
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:30 am start, 3:30/4:30 pm finish, flexibility to work occasional nights
  • Overtime paid at 1.3x, weekends 1.5x
