In this hands-on role, you will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment including Chippers, Rollers, JCBs and Telehandlers. Alongside this you will receive a range of on-the-job training, including on diagnostics, electrical and complex reactive fault-finding.

This role would suit a Mechanical Plant Fitter, looking to receive training on diagnostics and electrical fault-finding, looking to work within an independent business offering a clear scope to progress into supervisory and field-based roles in the future.

The Role:
  • Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
  • Training on diagnostics and electrical fault-finding
  • Working on Chippers, Rollers, JCBs and Telehandlers
  • Workshop-based, 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, 47.5 hour week
  • Optional overtime available to increase earnings
