Founded over 70 years ago, this family run business specialise in road maintenance and associated engineering. They pride themselves on their excellent client and staff retention and have ambitions to double their headcount in the coming years.
In this hands-on role, you will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment including Chippers, Rollers, JCBs and Telehandlers. Alongside this, you will receive a range of on-the-job training, including on diagnostics, electrical and complex reactive fault-finding.
This role would suit a Mechanical Plant Fitter looking to receive training on diagnostics and electrical fault-finding, working within an independent business offering a clear scope to progress into supervisory and field-based roles in the future.
The Role:- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
- Training on diagnostics and electrical fault-finding
- Working on Chippers, Rollers, JCBs and Telehandlers
- Workshop-based, 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, 47.5 hour week
- Optional overtime available to increase earnings
