In this hands‑on role, you will play a key part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
45‑hour week (Mon‑Sun, 5‑day rota).
This opportunity would suit an Apprentice‑Trained Engineer from an electrical background or similar, who is looking for a versatile, hands‑on role with full on‑the‑job training.
The Role- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance within a safety‑critical environment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, using technical drawings and engineering knowledge.
- Work to UK standards and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including 18th Edition requirements.
- Support maintenance across multiple systems, attending ride stoppages and assisting in the development and improvement of equipment performance.
- Apprentice‑trained engineer or ONC / Level 3 C&G / BTEC qualification.
- Strong electrical background or similar experience.
- Commutable to Southend‑on‑Sea.
