In this hands‑on role, you will play a key part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. 45‑hour week (Mon‑Sun, 5‑day rota).

This opportunity would suit an Apprentice‑Trained Engineer from an electrical background or similar, who is looking for a versatile, hands‑on role with full on‑the‑job training.

The Role
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance within a safety‑critical environment.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, using technical drawings and engineering knowledge.
  • Work to UK standards and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including 18th Edition requirements.
  • Support maintenance across multiple systems, attending ride stoppages and assisting in the development and improvement of equipment performance.
The Person
  • Apprentice‑trained engineer or ONC / Level 3 C&G / BTEC qualification.
  • Strong electrical background or similar experience.
  • Commutable to Southend‑on‑Sea.
