Do you have experience in assembling, disassembling and repairing various types of gearboxes and are now looking for a varied role within a reputable company, offering overtime availability and an annual bonus?
This company is a well-established, UK-based industrial gearbox and gear specialist. With roots going back to 1927, they combine historic experience with modern machining capability. They provide a full spectrum of services, from bespoke gear and gearbox manufacturing through to emergency repairs and refurbishments, across a broad range of industries such as Chemical, Steelworks, Manufacturing and Energy.
This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter that has worked on industrial gearboxes and is now looking to join a reputable company that offers a weekdays only role and optional overtime.
The Role:- Assembling, disassembling and repairing various types of gearboxes
- Inspecting gear components, diagnosing faults and assembling parts
- Work alongside CNC machinists, gear cutters and design engineers
- Reassemble gearboxes to tight tolerances
- Clean, inspect and measure gears, shafts and bearings
- Experience working on industrial gearboxes
- Mechanical Engineering qualification, HND / HNC, or similar
