Are you a mechanic with experience maintaining diesel engines and hydraulics systems, looking to boost your salary and progress your career in a well-established construction company?

This company provide a range of services for multiple projects, such as foundation piling for residential new builds, as well as piling services and excavations for hospitals and schools looking to extend their foundations. This company pride themselves on being a close and friendly team, for over 20 years, who reward the hard work of all of their staff with weekly attendance bonuses.

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems, with heavy plant machinery training being provided on the job. You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs on piling rigs and excavation machinery, such as diggers and JCB equipment. You will have specialist tools and equipment provided, however must use your own tools when needed.

This role would suit a mechanic with experience working on hydraulics and diesel engines, who is looking to progress their career with excellent in-house training and boost their salary with generous weekly bonuses.

The role:

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems and diesel engines
  • Perform servicing and maintenance for heavy plant machinery within the workshop
  • Attend regular training for specific machinery
  • Service and repair the company\’s fleet of vans when required
  • Travel to sites to carry out emergency repair when required
