Are you a Mechanical Graduate looking for an autonomous and technically challenging role offering a good work life balance due to a 4 day work week within a market-leading Manufacturer who provide an annual bonus, full training and a range of ongoing progression opportunities within the company? This company specialise in the manufacturing of Fire and Rescue equipment and appliances such as Fire Engines and have loaded to become supply directly to a number of blue-chip customers across the UK. Since their establishment in 1989, they have become market leaders and are now looking to grow their tight-knit team of Electrical Design Engineers to keep up with demand.
In this varied role you will be office based, working Monday - Thursday from 9am till 4pm as you work within the Mechanical Design Team creating electrical designs and documentation to meet technical and regulatory requirements, as you liaise with customers to ensure any issues are resolved before the construction of test units / prototypes occur. This role would suit a Mechanical Graduate looking for a varied and exciting role offering full training and the chance to kick start your career within a market leading company who pride themselves on their ongoing progression pathways and offer a 4 day work week.
The Role:- Development and execution of Mechanical designs for Fire and Rescue equipment
- Liaising with customers to record functional requirements to prepare for design
- Full Training provided
- Participate within the Mechanical Design Team on Hydraulic and Pneumatic component design
- 4 day work week
- Construction of test units and prototypes
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proficient in AutoCAD / Solidworks
- Commutable to Cumnock
