In this role, the successful Tax Senior or similar will be responsible for:
- Handling a portfolio of a variety of clients
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for both individuals and partnerships
- Preparing capital gains computations
- Assisting with HMRC enquiries as needed
- Submitting fillings and returns
- Managing multi-property rental accounts and client reporting
- Supporting junior staff within the business
- Keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in the financial services sector
- Strong knowledge of tax and a working knowledge of preparing tax returns
- Strong organisational, communicational, analytical and numerical skills
- Computer literacy
- Previous experience in a Payroll Administrator position or a related role
