The Role:
- Carry out First Off, In-Process, Goods Inwards and Final Inspection to customer drawings and specifications
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection to micron-level accuracy using micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMMs, and visual inspection equipment
- Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, supporting RCCAs where required
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records, contributing to continual improvement activities
- Manage gauge control, including ordering, calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of calibration records
The Person:
- Experience working as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment
- Confident using metrology equipment, including CMMs, micrometers, vernier callipers
