In this role, the successful Estimator/Surveyor or similar will be responsible for the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects spanning both the Construction and Facilities Management industries. You will also be responsible for the analysis of technical specifications, drawings etc in order to prepare tenders as well as assisting in post-tender negotiations. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for both customer, supplier and sub-contractor liaison. You will also collaborate with both Project Managers and Engineers to deduce estimates that align with delivery plans. Finally, you will be responsible for attending site visits as and when needed.
The ideal Estimator/Surveyor or similar will have a background within the Construction/Facilities Management sector or a related field. You will also have previous experience within an Estimator/Surveyor role or similar. In addition, you will have proficient numerical and organisational skills, as well as having strong negotiation abilities. On top of this, you will have knowledge of/the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. You will be happy to work autonomously as well as manage multiple tenders at one time. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
