Fire Protection Technician/Engineer (Off the Tools)

£40,000 – £60,000 (£5K+ OTE) + Training + Progression + Overtime + Pension

In this role, the successful Fire Protection Technician/Engineer will progress into a Project Manager position, predominantly focusing on Fire Sprinkler Systems, being responsible for all aspects of the project from initial conception through to completion. You will be responsible for Personnel Management as well as Material and Financial Management. You will also be responsible for completing Site visits when required – ensuring health and safety is adhered to when doing so. In addition, you will be responsible for producing Site Surveys as well as keeping accurate Technical Documentation as the projects progress. Finally, you will be responsible client liaison as well as third party/interdepartmental liaison.
The ideal Fire Protection Technician/Engineer will have a background in/extensive knowledge of Sprinkler Systems. You will ideally have previous experience within a Supervisor/Project Manager/Management role or similar. You will also have a general knowledge of the Construction Sector, in addition to strong organisational and communicational skills. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
