This company is spread over two sites with ambitious expansion plans within the next year. Working on a variety of overhead cranes and lifting equipment through various industries. Progression is at the core of the business, with extensive training - demonstrated through the two site managers being former hands-on Engineers.
This role will see the successful candidate travel around the local patch and inspect, service, maintain and repair a wide range of equipment. The successful individual should demonstrate experience within heavy industry, feel comfortable working at heights and be keen to develop their mechanical and electrical skills.

The Role:
- Travel to local client sites from Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30pm
- Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers' overhead cranes and lifting equipment through a variety of industries
- Fault find, diagnose and repair complex electrical systems including motor controls, variable frequency drives, PLC systems, contactors and relays
- Troubleshoot, fault-find and solve a multitude of mechanical problems on equipment such as gearboxes, wire rope systems, brakes and hoisting mechanisms
- Ensure health and safety is strictly enforced and adhered to, including working at height safety
- Weekend overtime available
The Person:
- Experience as an Electrically biased Engineer within heavy industry
- Full UK Driving Licence
