Electrical Design Engineer (National Grid Network) £50,000 – £60,000 + Early Finish Friday + Overtime + Company Bonus + Progression + Company Benefits Newcastle Are you an Electrical Design Engineer or similar looking for a specialist role offering the chance to work on technical National Grid projects essential for the ongoing supply of energy across the UK within a company moving from strength-to-strength who offer the autonomy to oversee projects and continually progress your career? This company has seen rapid organic growth since 2021 to the point they now have over 30 in the design team working on specialist projects primarily for the national grid. They are quickly progressing to become market leaders within their industry and are looking to expand their team to help with their ever increasing workload. This varied role will provide the chance to work on specialist Electrical Design projects producing a range of essential control solutions, schematic designs and wiring diagrams. You will work primarily in office on 2D AutoCAD in addition to conducting occasional site visits across the UK to National grid sites and occasionally working with DNO’s or 3rd party customer connections. This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer or similar looking for a technical role within a growing company that designs Substation protection and control solutions for a range of essential and cutting edge projects.
