Are you a Lead PHP Developer experienced with Laravel and Vue, wanting to play a crucial role in the continued success of an ambitious, family run company who are at the forefront of their industry and have spent the last few years bringing their development in house to have great control, flexibility, and the ability to accelerate?
Are you someone who believes technology should improve lives, strengthen human connection, and support better outcomes across healthcare, education, and professional development?
On offer is the opportunity to take lead of a small but experienced team where you will have the autonomy to work from home, with very occasional office attendance throughout the year. You will use your technical skills to support a Tech for Good organisation and create tools that improve education and real-world outcomes.
With solid groundwork already in place, you will take the lead in defining the technical future, steering the transition from legacy PHP systems to a modern, scalable platform built with Laravel, InertiaJS, and Vue 3.
This role would suit an experienced Lead PHP developer experienced with Laravel and Vue, who is ready to step beyond maintaining legacy systems and help build something modern, scalable, and genuinely impactful.
The Role:- Lead the team and support Full Stack development
- Take responsibility for legacy PHP systems, ensuring they remain reliable as you progressively build a new platform.
Hours: 09:00-17:00, with occasional Saturday work and availability on exam days (08:00-18:00)
The Person:- Very well experienced in PHP and Vue.js experience
