Are you an Electrical Wire Person with experience in a manufacturing environment, looking for a secure, site-based role wiring control panels and special purpose machines while working to detailed electrical drawings?

They design and manufacture specialised equipment for the converting and printing industries, alongside providing customer breakdown services and repairs.
This role would suit a time-served Electrical Wire Person ready to advance their career, offering hands-on technical variety, long term stability, and the opportunity to be a key part of a forward thinking, supportive business.
The Role
- Wiring control panels and special purpose machines to detailed electrical drawings
- Installing and connecting PLCs, motors, drives, relays, transformers, HMIs, and sensors
- Carrying out on-machine wiring, including trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, and cable management systems
- Conducting fault finding, testing, and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and wiring standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team to resolve issues
The Person
- A fully time-served electrical apprenticeship
- Experience in control panel and on-machine wiring
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently
