Diesel Mechanic (Marine)
£35,000 – £36,0000 + Extensive overtime + 33 days holiday + pension + Shore based in Workshop

Are you a mechanic from a car, agricultural or HGV background looking for a land-based role to support maintaining the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in the UK's offshore industry?
Are you looking to work for a company that values its employees and offer internal promotion, extensive overtime and training?
On offer is the opportunity to join the team where the main purpose of the role is to carry out mechanical repairs and servicing of fast rescue craft and also to carry out preventive maintenance on Deck equipment.
This role would suit a mechanic or engineer engineer looking for a land-based role with a company that offer a variety of different and interesting opportunities in time.
Responsibilities:
- Service outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
- Repair outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
- Ensuring all shipboard mechanical operated and maintained in a safe, efficient manner.
- Keeping company approved Planned Maintenance / Purchasing / systems are kept fully up to date
