Do you want to work as a Mechanical/Sales Engineer for a rapidly growing company, playing a pivotal role in driving the company's growth with opportunities for progression as well as skill development and growth of understanding within the field?
On offer for the successful Mechanical/Sales Engineer or similar is the opportunity to be trained and develop their skills through in-house training, also the opportunity to develop their confidence through mastering their sales techniques and earn a competitive commission.
In this role, the successful Sales Engineer or similar will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks:
- Account management
- New business development
- Technical quotation
- Customer communication
- CRM system maintenance
- Forecasting
- Interdepartmental collaboration and liaison
- Networking and events as needed
The ideal Mechanical/Sales Engineer or similar will have previous working experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, and ideally, but not essentially, previous sales experience. In addition, you will either have a knowledge of/come from a background within Material Science or a related field. You will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, alongside being computer literate, with impressive phone etiquette. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
