Are you a Project Engineer or similar looking to take ownership of the engineering department from design to manufacture, leading projects and managing two design engineers?

In this role, you will lead two design engineers and manage projects from concept through to production, reporting at Director level. You will ensure designs are practical, compliant, and commercially viable while overseeing documentation, validation, and change management.

This organisation is a well-established manufacturer supplying specialist equipment to emergency and fast response services, known for delivering durable, compliant solutions across the UK and beyond.

This opportunity would suit a Project Engineer or similar, looking for an autonomous role where no two days will be the same in a role that grants responsibility and respect.

The Role:
  • Working on project with end-to-end oversight
  • Managing two design engineers
  • Ownership of projects from design, manufacture and assembly
  • Using SolidWorks, review and approve drawings, CAD designs
  • Monday to Thursday (8am - 4:30pm) Friday (8am - 1:30pm)
The Person:
  • Project Engineer or similar
  • SolidWorks experience
