Are you a mechanical service engineer with experience working on CNC or machine tools, looking for a new opportunity to progress your career and learn new skills in an established machine tooling supply company? This company has been established since 1939, providing machining tools for nearly a century. They are looking to expand their team of highly skilled service engineers for a wide range of equipment, from CNC machines to Lathes. They supply into multiple industries such as aerospace and defence. They also have plans to grow the company to numerous sites around the UK, in the near future.

On offer is a chance to play a vital role in the business. You will be predominantly field based, carrying out maintenance, servicing, and calibration on all machines that are supplied by the company. This will involve using Renishaw laser and Ball bar machines to set the accuracy of the machines.

This role would suit an experienced mechanical service engineer with knowledge of machine tooling equipment, looking to join a company that will continually invest in you and your career.

The role:

  • Site-to-site servicing of machine tooling equipment
  • Calibration of machine tooling equipment on-site
  • Discuss potential issues with equipment to client
  • Travel around the Hampshire area
  • 3 days a week onsite servicing and maintenance of machining tools in the warehouse

The person:

  • Experience in a mechanical engineering role (ideally CNC/machine tooling)
  • Full UK driving licence
