Are you a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or similar with over 5 years on the tools experience? Do you want to take a step away from hands on to a hands off role and get involved in training the next generation of technicians for one of the largest international UK Defence and Engineering companies, where you will receive comprehensive training and support to directly impact future technicians as well as you?
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician to join an expanding training and development provider to the UK MoD. Established over 150 years ago, they are renowned for their excellent company benefits, highest standards of work and professionalism and long term investment in their staff and their quality training programmes for the UK MoD.
This varied role will see you involved in the daily delivery of technical training in vehicle maintenance, adhering to curriculum guidelines and creating a secure training setting both online and in the workshop. You will also contribute to course enhancement, trainee assessments and incorporating the latest technologies to aid the teaching process. You will receive full training and qualification investment to enable you to fulfil the role.
This role would suit a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or similar, looking to get off the tools, gain instructor qualifications and directly impact the next generation of dealership technicians as well as work for a defence business.
The Role:
- Delivery of Technical Vehicle Maintenance Training
- Developing course content, incorporating new technologies
- Full training on teaching funded qualification courses
- Monday to Friday
