Are you a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer, with SIL Verification knowledge, seeking to become a technical specialist within a rapidly expanding chemical company, where you will play a vital role in the compliance and safety of the factory automation?

In this role you will be working onsite at one of the most well-respected chemical producers in the UK. You will be responsible for the functional safety of the plant, ensuring day to day compliance, upgrading control systems, improving automation and maintaining technician competence, with plenty of scope to progress to more senior positions.

This company creates chemical stabilisers and synthesisers, as well as lubricants, heat stabilisers and plasticizers, which they supply to a variety of global industries. This company is rapidly expanding and needs an experienced Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to be at the forefront of this growth.

This role would suit a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer with SIL verification knowledge, looking to advance into a fast-growing company where you will be a vital and prominent asset to their operations and be recognised as a technical expert.

The Role:
  • Ensuring the functional safety and compliance of the plant
  • Upgrading control systems and designing equipment to remain competitive in the market
  • Improving the automation of machinery
  • Maintaining and training technician competence
  • Monday to Friday, 9-5, 35 hours per week
