In this role you will inspect, service, maintain and repair crawler cranes and heavy plant equipment across the Manchester / Northwest region, carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs to keep equipment safe, compliant and hire ready.
This role would suit a Heavy Plant Engineer or Crane Engineer with experience maintaining crawler cranes or lifting equipment, looking for a long-term role with strong overtime opportunities.
The Role:
- Inspect, service, maintain and repair crawler cranes and heavy plant equipment
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Prepare equipment for hire, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
- Liaise with operations and transport teams to support equipment movements and site requirements
The Person:
- Experience maintaining and servicing cranes and/or heavy plant machinery
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- CPCS card
