Now in the new year, the company have an order book that is nearing capacity and are looking for an experienced buyer to assist in their material / component sourcing.

The Role:
- Manage existing relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and looking to negotiate pricing
- Ensure all procurement activity is correctly recorded on company ERP and MRP systems
- Collaborate with the production teams, working to maintain material availability and inventory levels
- Track and report department KPI's, producing cost saving reports
- Interpret technical drawings, understand what fabricated, machined and manufactured components are needed
- Potential site visits to suppliers
