Are you an experienced LEV Installation or Service Engineer with strong hands-on fitting experience, looking for a lead role where you can take ownership of on-site installations and play a key part in delivering safety-critical systems across the UK? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing specialist provider of industrial dust extraction and Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems, where you will lead installations, support testing, and ensure systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
This respected engineering business designs, manufactures, installs, and tests LEV systems for the woodworking and wider manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Lead Fitter / Installation & Service Engineer to take responsibility for site-based installations while supporting servicing, testing, and workshop activities.
You will act as the on-site lead during installations, fitting ductwork, fans, filters, and associated equipment, while working closely with sales, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure installations meet design intent and regulatory standards. This role offers variety, responsibility, and long-term career stability within a specialist business.
Responsibilities:- Take the lead on-site for LEV system installations across the UK
- Install ductwork, hoods, fans, filters, and associated LEV equipment
- Carry out LEV testing and examinations between installation works
- Support fault-finding, servicing, and remedial activities
- Liaise with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure systems meet design requirements
- Assist with fabrication and manufacture at the Brill facility when required
- Ensure all work complies with COSHH, HSE guidance, and company safety standards
- Complete job documentation, reports, and test records accurately
- P601 qualification
- Proven experience installing and servicing LEV / dust extraction systems
