Assistant Engineering Assessor (NDT / Pressure Vessels)

***Day Release for HNC/HND Study fully paid***

£32,000 – £35,000 + Car Allowance of £6,600 + 8% pension contribution + Full Surveying Training + Work from Home / Client site + 37.5 hours a week + 25 days holiday + Wellbeing package + Career Progression

On offer is the opportunity to perform surveys and assess the design, manufacture, and in-service aspects of engineering assets against agreed Codes, Standards, specifications and procedures, using experience and knowledge appropriate for routine solutions.
You will be familiar with ASME9 or PED5500 and will be responsible for
Responsibilities:

  • Carry out technical inspections/ assessments under close supervision and against defined specifications
  • Assist in producing reports/certificates/documents to an agreed format
  • Assist data collection, analysis and presentation of reports as required
  • Assist colleagues in delivering services to internal/external clients including creating and maintain technical file systems
  • Contribute to internal/external client management, by acting as point of contact to effectively manage client relationships
  • Collate and communicate customer feedback to relevant parties seeking improvements to processes and customer service

The person:

  • Experience of general engineering inspection or NDT/Materials or pressure systems codes
